METOP 3EX
METOP 3EX consists of three components, ready made cementitious high quality colored concrete surface hardener plus 2 component special resin and hardener .The liquid mixture is applied in three steps during the application of the dry shake hardener .
METOP 3EX contains special natural very hard mineral /metallic aggregates( AL2O3 +Fe3O4 ) which never rusts , cement , special chemical additives and a 2 component special binders
METOP 3EX is applied directly to the surface of freshly placed concrete slabs. It gives high abrasion resistance to the applied surface and protection to some mild chemicals.
APPLICATION AREA
1- factory floors ( where no chemicals or acids of high concentration are present)
2- textile factories
3- Automotive factories
4- Car parks and garages
5- warehouses
6- loading platforms,
7- Floors subjected to mild chemicals such as food market floors, slaughters, food stores etc where
some mild chemical and acids might form .
It can be used anywhere were the floor is subjected to heavy vehicle traffic and some mild
chemicals are present.
PPLICATION TECNICS
Two different technics can be used depending on the finale required results,
1-Concrete is placed in the normal standard way, vibrated , screeded.just before applying dry shake hardener on the sprinkle 100 g/m2 of the liquid mixture to the surface and then apply (5-6 kg/m2)dry shake hardener and float , then apply another 100-150 g/m2 liquid hardener and steel trowel after finishing trowelling apply the rest after 12 hours or one day (depending on weather conditions as a curing material. In this application technic 5-6 kg/m2 dry shake hardener and 450-500 g/m2 liquid hardener is consumed. This is regarded as a durable and long lasting hardener application.
2.Againg normal classical of 5-6 kg/m2 Dry shake hardener application method is used, at the final trowelling stage150 g/m2 of the special liquid hardener is sprinkled and proceed with trowelling until the smooth surface is obtained. then apply 100-150 g/m2 liquid hardener as a curing agent and protective layer.
